### Policies as easy as writing a prompt, enforced deterministically

Guardrails that ask an LLM to judge each call are easy to set up but can be talked around. Rule languages like Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Common Expression Language (CEL) are deterministic, but someone has to write the rules and keep them up to date. SealGate gives you both: anyone can set a policy, and the same action always gets the same decision.

### Local MCP servers and the agent CLI are covered too

MintMCP moves local servers into its own cloud, Kong only sits in front of servers reached over the network, and Runlayer and Golf govern MCP traffic only.

## The team behind SealGate

SealGate was founded by [Eito Miyamura](https://www.linkedin.com/in/eito-miyamura-157305121) , a University of Oxford computer science alumnus and AI researcher. In September 2025 he showed that a single calendar invite could hijack ChatGPT's Gmail connector and leak a user's private email, research covered by [SecurityWeek, Tom's Hardware and SC Media](https://sealgate.ai/press) . That exploit is why SealGate exists. The team brings experience from the University of Oxford, Wayve, Citadel Securities, Synopsys, VMware and CrowdStrike.
