# Connect Beeper to SealGate

One command connects your Beeper unified inbox to your AI agent, so it can read and send messages across WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Signal, governed by SealGate. No config files, no manual setup.

Paste this into your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and others) and it will set everything up. Or run the command yourself in a terminal.

Requires macOS or Windows (Linux is experimental) with the Beeper desktop app installed.

## Beeper and AI agents: FAQ

What does connecting Beeper to SealGate let my AI agent do? Beeper is a unified inbox for WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, LinkedIn DMs, Signal, Instagram DMs, Messenger, X DMs, Discord DMs, LINE, and more. Connecting it through SealGate lets ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI agent read, triage, and send messages across all of those networks from one setup.

Does the Beeper connector work with cloud agents like ChatGPT? Yes. The Beeper MCP server needs the Beeper desktop app running locally, so a small daemon called stdiod tunnels it to the SealGate gateway. That makes it reachable from cloud and mobile agents, not just local CLI tools.

Is my Beeper login safe? Your Beeper login never reaches SealGate's servers. Message content routes through SealGate in transit but is never stored, and no one at SealGate can read it. Every tool call runs through SealGate policy checks and an audit log that keeps only metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never your message content, so you control and can review what the agent does without your conversations being stored.

What does SealGate store about my messages? SealGate routes each tool call to your connector and back, holding the request and response in memory only long enough to apply your policies, then discarding them. That check is automated: the gateway inspects the traffic programmatically to enforce your rules, and no one at SealGate can read your messages. They are never persisted and never used to train any model. SealGate keeps only call metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never the tool-call parameters or results, so your conversations and who you are talking to are never stored on SealGate's servers.

How do I set it up? Run the one-line installer, or paste the setup prompt into a coding agent like Claude Code or Cursor. It installs the local daemon and the Beeper connector. If you sign up through the personal-messaging quickstart the connector is pre-approved; otherwise you approve it once in the SealGate dashboard.
