Do I need the WhatsApp Business API? No. SealGate connects to your own WhatsApp account through the Beeper desktop app, so there is no separate Business API account or third-party number to provision. Is it safe to give an AI agent access to WhatsApp? Your WhatsApp login is never stored on SealGate's servers. Every tool call the agent makes runs through SealGate policy checks and is written to an audit log that records only metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never your message content, so you control and can review exactly what it did without SealGate storing your messages. What does SealGate store about my messages? SealGate routes each tool call to your connector and back, holding the request and response in memory only long enough to apply your policies, then discarding them. That check is automated: the gateway inspects the traffic programmatically to enforce your rules, and no one at SealGate can read your messages. They are never persisted and never used to train any model.
