Starting from it pre-approves the Beeper connector for your new account, so after you install there is nothing to approve by hand. Already have an account? It installs sealgate-stdiod and the Beeper connector, which bridges your messaging accounts through the Beeper desktop app on your own logins, and connects it to your SealGate account. On Team and Enterprise plans an admin adds it once for the organization. In Claude Code, run the command below, then type /mcp to sign in. claude mcp add --transport http --scope user sealgate https://mcp.sealgate.ai/mcp - 4 ### Approve the connector if you skipped the signup link If you created your account through the signup link above, Beeper is already approved, so you are done. Otherwise, open the SealGate dashboard and approve the Beeper connector once. Either way every call the agent makes is policy-checked and logged, and you can keep it read-only until you want the agent to reply on your behalf. - 5 ### Ask Claude Start a new conversation and say what you need. Once you connect X through SealGate, your agent can read your direct messages and draft or send replies, from local tools or cloud apps like ChatGPT and Claude. Do I need X API access or a paid tier? No. SealGate connects to your own X account through the Beeper desktop app, so there is no X API project or paid API tier to provision. Is it safe to connect an AI agent to my X DMs? Your X login is never stored on SealGate's servers. Every tool call runs through SealGate policy checks and an audit log that captures only metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never your DM content, so you control and can review what the agent does without SealGate storing your messages. What does SealGate store about my messages? SealGate routes each tool call to your connector and back, holding the request and response in memory only long enough to apply your policies, then discarding them. That check is automated: the gateway inspects the traffic programmatically to enforce your rules, and no one at SealGate can read your messages. They are never persisted and never used to train any model. SealGate keeps only call metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never the tool-call parameters or results, so your conversations and who you are talking to are never stored on SealGate's servers.
