Once you connect X through SealGate, your agent can read your direct messages and draft or send replies, from local tools or cloud apps like ChatGPT and Claude. Do I need X API access or a paid tier? No. SealGate connects to your own X account through the Beeper desktop app, so there is no X API project or paid API tier to provision. Is it safe to connect an AI agent to my X DMs? Your X login stays on your machine and is never stored on SealGate's servers. Every tool call runs through SealGate policy checks and an audit log that captures only metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never your DM content, so you control and can review what the agent does without SealGate storing your messages. What does SealGate store about my messages? SealGate routes each tool call to your connector and back, holding the request and response in memory only long enough to apply your policies, then discarding them. That check is automated: the gateway inspects the traffic programmatically to enforce your rules, and no one at SealGate can read your messages. They are never persisted and never used to train any model. SealGate keeps only call metadata (which tool ran, when, and which agent ran it), never the tool-call parameters or results, so your conversations and who you are talking to are never stored on SealGate's servers. Does it work with cloud agents, not just CLI tools? Yes. A small local daemon called stdiod tunnels your local X connector to any cloud or mobile agent, so apps like ChatGPT and Claude can use it too, not just CLI tools on the same machine.
